Big Fish Little Fish
Join the award winning, critically acclaimed Big Fish Little Fish crew and headline DJs 2 Bad Mice at a rave for families with children aged 0-8 years. Designed as much for grown ups as for children, experience a dancefloor full of bubbles, club visuals, glitter cannons, huge balloons and a giant parachute dance.
Collaborate on a giant colouring mural, create at the play dough table, get a temporary tattoo and get creative at the crafting tables with The Creation Station. Play and relax in the baby chillout area on mats with tents, tunnels and ball pool (for the littlest ravers).
Dressing up is encouraged – the theme is “Back To The Old Skool’ – think rave wear, neon, anything day-glow!
Expect upfront tunes spanning dance genres. Techno, hip hop, house, rave, drum ‘n’ bass (all played at a safe volume). The licensed bar will be open for parents to enjoy, with soft drinks available for the younger ravers.
Clown Bert's super silly comedy show starts with Bert prim & proper setting the stage.
However his props wont stay in place & his suitcase has a mind of its own, the zombie ball tries to escape, there's a close shave with his jumpy broom & water turning into..confetti! All this before a kerfuffle with a tiny bicycle & three hooters
Bert's show is family friendly bubbly fun with lots of slapstick comedy, magic & stunt bike riding! See you at the show.

Babyhead Tom and DJ Cheeba
The year is 2035. Babyhead Tom and DJ Cheeba are the biggest hip hop stars in the galaxy. Whilst on a tour through the Milkyway, their spaceship crash lands on planet earth only to find its inhabitants under the control of Kommander Krumble. All creative activity is illegal. The grown ups are under a mysterious spell called the flatscreendayjobzombievirus. Our heroes must enlist the audience’s help on a space quest to make a song so funky it breaks the spell and releases the planet from kommader krumbles clutches.

Torbay’s live 87.9 FM broadcast for and by young people live from Grinagog Music Festival on 7th/8th +9th April 2016. Paignton’s young people are for the first time covering a live weekend music festival in Torbay at Grinagog on 87.9 FM. Ocean Youth, recently rebranded and renamed by the young presenters themselves, will be broadcasting music, interviews and live feeds of performances for all of those who want to enjoy the festival but can’t be at the event.
You will find Ocean Youth roaming the festival with microphones at the Riviera Centre or at their Beach Hut recording studio at Torre Abbey on Friday and Sunday. Ocean Youth will be also be collecting local accents and old Devonian words or sayings in danger of being forgotten. Grinagog is an old term for someone who smiles a lot!
This exciting event coincides with Ocean Youth’s temporary relocation to Paignton Library where they willbroadcast every Saturday and run many local oral history intergenerational recordings and broadcasts.
Ocean Youth is all about increasing young people's confidence and skills. We are recruiting 20 new presenters in the Easter holidays and training them up to present live at the festival. This work is funded by BBC's Children In Need and the Torbay Culture Board. The youth station is funded by the National Lottery, Heritage Lottery Fund and in partnership with the Torbay Youth Trust and libraries.
